Crosswinds Apartment Homes
The Crosswinds Apartment Homes is to be constructed in North Loop 1604 East, San Antonio, Texas. The deal closing was on January 27, 2022. It will provide 312 apartment homes with a mix of one, two, and three bedroom floorplans. The community will be managed by Pedcor Management Corporation. PMC is an owner held management company and is accredited through the Institute of Real Estate Management® (IREM), winning multiple awards for property management and community design. Trails at Twin Lakes
Trails at Twin Lakes closing deal was in December 2021. Village Capital Corporation (“VCC”) will develop a 168-unit apartment community located at 2822 Ross Road, Durham, NC, on 18.34 acres between Ross Road and Holloway Street. The apartment community will consist of 1 bedroom 1 bath, 2 bedroom 2 baths, and 3 bedroom 2 baths floorplans. The property will consist of 7 three-story buildings with 24 units per building. The community will also feature a clubhouse with amenities including a pool, laundry facilities, business center, community room, and playground. Unit amenities will include covered entries, 8’ ceilings in the living room and all bedrooms, ceiling fans in bedrooms and all living rooms, washer and dryer hookups, breakfast bar, and walk-in closets.
The proposed development will be managed by Pedcor Management Corporation (“PMC”), an affiliate of VCC. The proposed development will provide housing for low- and moderate-income households, allowing residents access to the services and opportunities associated with the project’s location. Durham, NC along with the surrounding areas collectively known as the Research Triangle has experienced tremendous population and job growth in recent years. With increased housing demand has come housing shortages, specifically affordable housing shortages. According to the City of Durham, some 15,000 households are severely housing cost-burdened, paying over 50% of their income for housing. Our project will play a small role in alleviating this strain with 168 new affordable housing units.
Ascent closing was on December 8, 2021. The apartment community consists of 240 apartment homes. The apartments will be located approximately 7.6 miles north of downtown Nashville. The community will consist of 1 bedroom 1 bath, 2 bedroom 2 baths, and 3 bedroom 2 baths floorplans. Community amenities include a playground, clubhouse, swimming pool, and more. The proposed development will be managed by Pedcor Homes Corporation (“PHC”).
Deep River Pointe Apartment Homes
Pedcor Homes Corporation acquired Deep River Pointe Apartment Homes on December 7, 2021. Deep River offers luxury lake side living in a premier High Point, North Carolina location. Residents value the impressive selection of amenities, as well as the natural beauty of the surrounding area. Crown Pointe Apartment Homes
Pedcor Homes Corporation acquired Crown Pointe Apartment Homes on December 14, 2021. Crown Pointe is located in Spartansburg, SC and offers one, two, and three bedroom floorplans. Carriage House Apartments
Pedcor Homes Corporation acquired Carriage House and The Azaelas at Carriage House on January 20, 2022. The apartment community offers spacious one, two, and three bedroom garden and townhome style apartment homes. It is located in the heart of Gastonia, North Carolina which is minutes from Charlotte and close to local shopping, dining, and entertainment. The apartments are designed with large spacious bedrooms, washer/dryer connections, patio/balconies, and much more.
