Resume:
Ms. Averitt, born and raised in Indianapolis, graduated Cum Laude from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and minors in Business and French. She worked as an investment specialist and client representative at Charles Schwab and Merrill Lynch, where she held her Series 63 and Series 7 designations while attending law school at Indiana University in Indianapolis. She graduated law school in 2001 and passed the Indiana State Bar Exam that summer.
Ms. Averitt practiced law at Wooden & McLaughlin for three years in their Real Estate Transaction department where she acted as representative for lending institutions, purchasers and sellers of both commercial and residential real estate. Joining Pedcor in January of 2004, Ms. Averitt acted as counsel to Pedcor Bancorp and transitioned to Marketing. She is now Vice President and Director of Marketing and Sales for Pedcor City Center Development Company, working with lessors and purchasers of Pedcor-developed projects.
