Mr. Tucker has been involved in Community, Economic and Residential development since 1978. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a Bachelor of Science from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs. Upon graduation from Indiana University, in Bloomington, Indiana, Mr. Tucker was employed with the Indianapolis Office of Housing and Urban Development. While there he assisted large metropolitan cities statewide with planning, implementation and evaluations of Community and Economic development projects.

In 1987, Mr. Tucker was employed by Business Opportunities Systems, Inc., a 501(c) (3) non profit entity located on Historic Indiana Avenue in Indianapolis, Indiana. As Director of Development, Mr. Tucker worked with Browning Investments to obtain financing and lease up of a three story office building and the Sexton companies to renovate and construct the Historic Lockefield Gardens apartments along the east edge of the IUPUI campus. In 1988, Mr. Tucker joined the Sexton Companies located in Indianapolis, Indiana. As Vice President of Finance with the Sexton Companies (J & M Development) Mr. Tucker was responsible for acquiring development sites for both multi-family and single-family subdivisions and securing construction and permanent financing for developments in Indianapolis, Indiana and Columbus, Ohio. In 1996, Mr. Tucker formed his own company to construct single-family homes in economically distressed areas in Indianapolis and East Chicago, Indiana. As a developer and builder Mr. Tucker oversaw the construction of over sixty new affordable homes in the aforementioned cities. Fall Creek Proper subdivision, located near downtown Indianapolis, has received national acclaim as a new urbanized area.

In 2005, Mr. Tucker joined Pedcor Financial, LLC as Vice President of Copper Development, LLC. Mr. Tucker is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Indiana, and, in his duties of Vice President of Copper Development, also acts as Project Manager for the acquired properties. His responsibilities include: locating properties to be renovated, reviewing comps, projecting resale potential, preparing budgets for the rehabilitation of the home, floor plans, schedules, hiring contractors, purchasing materials, overseeing construction, listing projects and working with buyers for purchase.

In addition, Mr. Tucker is a Trustee with Martin University, Indianapolis, Indiana; Chairperson of the Council on Finance and Administration for the South Indiana United Methodist Church and a Board Member of Rapheal Health Center, located in Indianapolis, Indiana. Mr. Tucker served as a Director for Park Tudor School and chaired the Diversity and Finance Committee respectively. Also, Mr. Tucker is a past recipient of the Louis A. Dawson Memorial Award given by Tabernacle Church Recreational Department for volunteer service and a past receipt of the Thomas H. Wright, Distinguished Park Tudor Board of Directors Award.
